Go to the shopThe History Behind Our Sauce
Our family's sauce recipe has been passed on from generation to generation. It originated from Ladina's Uncle Leon, Uncle Ronnie William, and Auntie Derelaine who owned the Original Chat and Chew restaurant in Buffalo New York - which is home to the chopped burgers and famous sauce. Ladina bought the business from her Uncle in May of 1999 and named her new shop, Dot's Kitchen - after her mother Doris Benton. Although the business closed down in 2005, the sauce still lives on through Ladina and her daughters, Latima and LaAngela. Drawing on the rich history of sauce recipes passed down through generations, Ladina's Famous Sauce and Sandwiches was born.
Sharing Our Family Secret Sauce
The sauce and story of our family is a passion that we hope to continue sharing with others! As we go to pop-ups, sell our product in stores, and launch new sauces, we hope to see our product and story impact the world in a great way. Some of the best connections and relationships are formed around the kitchen table - especially when there is great-tasting food. We know our sauce will help make those moments even better than before.
