Meatloaf Sandwich

You can never go wrong with comfort food like meatloaf. Our recipe for meatloaf hoagie sandwiches gives the traditional meal some extra flavor. The sandwiches are filled with a flavorful meatloaf mixture, and then topped with veggies, cheesy goodness, and Ladina's Famous Sauce. The best part about these meatloaf hoagie sandwiches is that they are so easy to make.

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/4 cup chopped green pepper

1/2 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons prepared mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

4-6 American Cheese Slices

6 hoagie buns, split

Optional: Banana Pepper and Onion toppings

Ladina's Famous Sauce


Servings: 4-6

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, green pepper, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

3. Shape mixture into six 3/4-inch-thick patties.

4. Grill or broil patties for 10 minutes, turning once, or until no longer pink in the center.

While the patty cooks, add banana peppers and onions, or other desired vegetable toppings, and cook until soft.

5. Place patties and veggies on hoagie buns - top with cheese of your choice and Ladina's Famous Sauce.
